Omg! Congrats! The fact that you received the golden email with the tracker still showing "not started" kinda gives me hope things will soon happen for me as well! Did you have any ghost updates during these 6 months?
Tracker generally seem to be lagging behind, GCKey even more so. Receiving email can be very independent of what you see in tracker or GCkey. In my case, tracker was updated 3 days after my PPR and GCKey was only updated when I got passports stamped.

FSW has dropped to 27 from 31 months... But again, I've seen people getting their PPR with 4, 3 even 2 months after AOR. So, the math behind those numbers is very obscure.

i'm going to request CBSA notes to make sure if I'm undergoing enhanced security screening, what should I write here?
*Requests must include sufficient detail to enable an experienced employee of the CBSA, with a reasonable effort, to identify the records that are being requested. Examples include, but are not limited to, time periods, file numbers, client identifiers, file names, report titles, locations (office, port of entry or region/branch), names of individuals, passport numbers, dates of birth (if requesting traveller history or immigration files).
