I checked every single day (sometimes twice a day).

'Ghost updates' were as follows:

GU1: Medicals passed and BIL request (email). At this stage, the Background check said the usual line "We cannot process your background check until you have completed the Biometrics" I did this the next day of course.

GU2: Completed Biometrics so profile was updated same day and Background check changed to "We are processing your Background check. We will be in touch if we need more information."

GU3: Application/ Profile Updated - this was on Monday. Checked my profile but everything was exactly the same - seems my application was approved as received the RVF email just now!

I suspect yours will be coming very very soon!! A great Christmas gift!!

Confirmed I am a French Citizen but PR in the UK so all docs were in English, went to uni in England etc. (over 20 years now )

Full timeline is as follows:

CRS: 500
ITA: October 12th (FSW - Outland single applicant)
Upfront Medical: Done October 29th 2022
Submitted: November 5th 2022
AOR: November 5th 2022
MEP & BIL: November 17th
BIL and Background check update: November 18th
Ghost Update: Application/ Profile Updated on Monday December 19th

Ready for Visa email: Today, December 21

RVF email mean? I applied under AIP

RVF means "Ready for Visa". They will send you full instructions on submitting your Passport etc. for COPR

AIP has quite a different reviewing process. I am not sure EE timeline is a good reference for your case..
