Called CIC today to ask about the progress, its 182 days, a nice lady picked up and at first said that its not 182 days, I have to wait till 3rd November to cross 6 months. However, she helped by checking on my file and said everything is completed and there is no issue! I should be able to hear from them in a month (!!). Fingers crossed :-D

Still no news here, the usual story. But sooner or later they'll have to touch our files anyway so we can just wait and hope they're happy with the content. In my case the 6 months will be up tomorrow. I've been waiting this long, might as well wait a few more days.

I think I need to wait until Wednesday before contact CIC with a valid case that I met 180 days because I think they counted by month rather than days.

That was my case as well couple of days back. Took a chance today as I am on day 182 with the argument that 6 months have passed ;-), the lady was kind enough to over look 2 days and tell me the status update.
