GCMS notes are those wriiten by your case officer. You can order the notes and receive it after 1 month. It contains details of progress of your file and may show up problems if any so that you can take action. Its optional to do but people recommend to order them.

I got married around 2 months back. How much time do I have to inform IRCC about the change in my marital status?
I was traveling after marriage and then cam back after a month and got my marriage certificate.

And so got late in informing IRCC. Is there any guideline on how much time I have to inform them?

If yes, what can be the possible way out if I missed the timeline?

You can try, as it is not six months they really dont answer.
Try your luck there is no harm in trying, if you get an amazing representative... they might give you info..

Finally Received PPR mail today afternoon from NDVO. ;D

Thank you NDVO for processing in 130 days.

Here is my timeline.
SINP application - 4th Jan 2016
SINP Nomination - 1st Apr, 2016
ITA - 6th Apr, 2016
AOR - 17th May, 2016
Medical passed - 24th May, 2016
BG in progress - 26th Sep, 2016
PPR mail - 26th Sep, 2016
GCMS - not applied

there is no timeline as such...as you have informed before your landing, so you are good...

suggestion: get updated POF letter, meds/ pcc for spouse
