So it means that I got the PR right? Is it possible to get a rejection after PPR?

LOL, NO! There is no chance of rejection after PPR! Congrats brother!

BTW, PPR is not PR document. You're just a couple of steps away to be a PR.

AOR: 10 May
Schedule A request: 11 May
Background in progress: 4/8/2016


I called CIC, as my application crossed 7 month, they informed me that my background check is still in progess. They also stated that i could call back in march to ask concerning my application. This is really frustrating, seriously

Really? So they are actually indicating that the due date for your background check is next March! Thats really a lot of delay.

Unfortunately, They lady who answered the phone did not state when it is expected to finish. She just stated that background is still in progress, without stating anything else. She ended the phone call by saying: ''if you don't receive anything by march, you should call back''

Basically always different, last time I was told to call back in 2 weeks to see if there is any update.

I have same situation, my AOR in 2nd May and I called CIC twice and no definite answer.
CIC officer said the file with CSIS and no one can check with them until get a reply from them.

I think this kind of investigation happening to the people traveling a lot.
