Hello guyz,

I have sent my passport to CIC for stamping the PR visa. I have received the ready for visa email but strangely there is no update on my cic account. Is it normal? ----> it will keep on showing in progress till stamping is done and COPR is issued...once issued, it will go to approved and closed...

and how long does it take for CIC to issue the VISA and send the passport? ----> generally 14-21 days...NOT business days..

Congrats. Usually around 10 days or so assuming you VO is Ottawa.

yes, its Ottawa. Hopefully i will receive in two weeks. I book a flight on end of december. I will be in trouble if i dont get it by then.

don't worry...it happens in batches-passport collection, printing and sending out...since you are in BC as I am...it took me 17 days...if you are lucky and 'get' into a batch that is near completion you should get yours quickly...another member wenfeizh from BC (may aor) got it in 10 days...

hopefully it will all work out my friend....

Is there a way to track the progress after CIC receives the passport ? or Just have to wait for return ?

Hello everyone... u guys are very helpfull.. finally made account at canadavisa. You guys are amazing and very helpfull. My AOR was on 3rd June ,CeC inland, back ground still in process from 11th nov and still waiting for golden email. I think next week gonna b good for us.

I'm a 27 Aug AOR and I received the very same reply than you yesterday except that mine was in French.
Hope that the final stages do not last decades.

I received the exact same reply within minutes of sending email.
I guess it's a generic one.
Nevertheless this week has been pretty hollow in terms of PPR's issued.

I've hit the 180day mark today sent a question to the Immigration through a form requesting the status of my application.

It seems like they take 10 business days to reply will keep you guyz posted.
