I am working in Singapore, so since last time I got the police certificate, I am still staying in Singapore.
Did the police certificate get the validity period?
Almost 6 months have passed since ur last PCC, You need to get a new one now. That might be the reason why they have requested it again.
175 days since AOR

In 8 days 6 monghs will be completed. C'mon CIC.

If you are there in Singapore, go and get a new one. It takes 7-10 days.

Not really.
All this time I thought that NDVO will be processing my file.
But after I got my notes, I saw that it is pending with CPC-Ottawa with no movement.
Thanks
I am suspecting most of the August, September, October applications in CPC-Ottawa are not moving at all. I am in the same boat. Frustrating.
Sent passport to CPC-Ottawa last night. Gonna be there by Monday.

Ditto for me. I also thought my VO was NDVO until I checked my GCMS notes. CPC Ottawa is very slow

Same boat here as well.
CPC Ottawa's priority would be processing refugee applications first and, as a result, economic immigration cases get stuck. July folks were luckier to have a lesser average turn around time. Now they will be meeting the 25K number by Feb end and hopefully they will give the due attention to other people as well.

But that's surprising, considering that both of you are FSW Outland, that ideally your VO should be NDVO. Now I am worried.. I have not ordered any GCMS Notes and was actually not planning to!

Yeah, that was my assumption too. And then somebody from Outland FSW India mentioned about his/her VO being shifted to Pretoria as a part of load distribution. When I got my GCMS notes I got to see that mine was being processed by CPC Ottawa as a part of load distribution. NDVO is faster anyway, had mine been in NDVO I'd have got the PPR by now.. Not much we can do, other than waiting.
I assumed that mine will be processed in London, UK too but when I received my GCMS, I realised that it is being processed by CPC Ottawa. My GCMS showed that my application has not been touched since 20th October when it was moved to CPC Ottawa. I wonder how long we will have to wait before they look at our applications again. My AOR is 9th October.

I am FSW-Inland applicant. Does that mean my application has been at Ottawa office?

Probably yes. You can get to know for sure if you have your GCMS notes with you.

Hello Chittur,
Did you "Background Check" just turned to "Not Needed at this time" or it has been like that from starting? Did they request you for some more documents? Mine is "Not needed at this time" too and when they requested some additional documents about 3 weeks ago.
Thanks and Best of Luck.
Mine has been on "Background Check" "Not Started" since the beginning of the application..No additional documents have been requested. I am just hoping and praying it moves forward without any glitch...waiting for that Magical day... At least looks like your application is making some progress...Are you applying from Inland?
