There was a saying "Known devil is always better than the unknown devil". I am not sure how far refugees are benefiting, because these fellows are pulling the people from the refugee camps from Lebanon and Jordan. They are not helping the people who are actually in need. No I am regretting for applying from inside Canada.

Does it make any sense to apply for a bridge work permit now? I am suppose to leave the country by Mid March.

wait a bit longer if you current WP is still valid. Apply for BOWP just before your current WP expires, if you haven't received PPR at that time, so you can still stay and work in Canada on implied status.

Here's my timeline:

FSW Inland
ITA: Sept 8th
App sent and AOR: Sept 9th
Review in progress: Sept 9th
Medicals passed and background check in progress: Sept 17th
Everything else is not needed at this time

I had not heard anything since then and as per GMCS notes received a few days ago, the first check on my application was completed on Oct. 14th, R10-OK.

I am terrified...

No information or follow up from CIC till now. Its a damn harsh wait. People who have submitted files before me have been getting responses. What is wrong with that guy who is processing/analyzing my file? It is very frustrating at times to how candidates are getting PPR or atleast some correspondence relating to their file. I am sure we are all annoyed to some extent the way this process is dealing with its participants.

I would suggest to keep all the paper work and application ready for BOWP. If you get your PPR before mid march well and good otherwise apply for BOWP a week before your existing WP expires.
