ECAS is updated every Tuesday as what the cic site mentions

Well sadly its been 2 Tuesday from the day i applied but no ecas for me yet.

But i m curious to know that if anyone got access yo ecas in between Wednesday to Monday

i wait game is the worst because the processing time varies and also i see ppl who got their AOR on 12th didnt get any update yet and also for the fact that have paid the RPRF which supposedly should speed up the process doesnt appear to be true for me until now

I got it on either sunday or monday (20th or 21st sep)...had chked on saturday (19th) but it didnnt show up..

Yep, I've got access to ECAS on Wednesday, and I have also received an update in ECAS regarding additional information on Monday...

Keep checking it, but you will receive access only once some visa officer starts processing your application...

My BG Check still says - Not Started, how long before i can expect my BG Check to start

Any inland CEC applicant who has done 1 year course and the bridging program from Niagara college ?

Hi thenumbiceman,

Application would not get updated frequently after you get eCAS line and background check In-Progress because background is the most time consuming process. Don't worry. Good Luck!

I am in the same boat. My AOR is September 3, but the Background check has not started. Usually it changes from not started to in progress either the same day, or within 2-3 days from when the Medical is passed. I see many people who have the same status as you and me. So keep your fingers crossed and lets hope for the best.

Do you mind telling me where you are applying from?

it is an acknowledgement of receipt letter sent from CIC. It is different from the first one;and states that it can be used to apply for a bridging open work permit.

However, not everyone gets one and I don't know why. Moreover, most people with PPRs never received any.

I see. Thanks for the reply. I think 2nd AOR is sent to the people who needs bridging work permit. CIC must have seen their Work Permit UCI number and sent them.
