Thanks for letting me know that I am not alone in this situation. I am pretty stressed out as I have an important exam on 4 June and I would not be able to sit for the exam unless I can show my passport as identification at the test center. Any way lets hope things work out quick now!

Some of these people working in the government, don't care about anything! They are being paid and their outcome is zero!
Last time I called the CIC, the agent told me that someone is actively working on my application!

Received reply of my email to Ottawa. They said they have just received the results of my background check and an officer will review it soon. Hoping for a positive response. 8 months and 7 days since AOR.

Probably because i enquire about my application only after a while (an email after a month usually). They didn't respond me when I sent two many CSEs or emails in the beginning. Infact once i sent two many CSEs and i saw in my GCMS notes that they treated is as "Incoming correspondence marked as received in bulk". Just checked MyCIC and status was Updated. When I checked inside, nothing changed. Back to Submitted now.
