Friends,
Just want to share my experience regarding my application under cec inland. I submitted my documents on September 2, 2015 and my Pgwp expired on September 4, 2015. I also applied for BOWP on September 3, 2015 just 1 day before my pgwp expiry with first AOR and it got approved on Jan 12, 2016. Yesterday on February 23, my background check went into progress and today February 24 I got an email at 11.38 am to submit my passport. HURRRRAAAAY.
Hope this helps
Hi there,
You don't need to appeal! They don't really like it at all. Just write the letter to CIC, don't forget to indicate your File Number. Explain your situation in simple words and attach all necessary documents to confirm/support your letter. It should work.

I agree about the case specific inquiry- we had something similar and the reopened the case. It took 3 weeks but they did.
Also guyz wanted to update that we rcvd ppr on 23 feb )))
This forum truely made the wait easier.
We have a question though - i live in canada (student) but my husband (main applicnt) lives in uae.
We dnt knw how to send the passports - we emailed both uae visa office & CPC-ottawa - & we rcvd an autoreply that it takes 15 & 20 business days to respond:s
I am a bit worried coz we have to submit passports in 30 days - anyone has a clue.
I want to submit to CPC-Ottawa & my husband to UAE office
