So I have submitted e-APR application on the 23rd of September 2016 and a Bridging work permit application on the 24th of September 2016. My medicals passed on the 8th of October and back ground check went to in progress and no updates since then. Today, 1st of November I get a ghost email for my bridging work permit application and I check my account and it says that my application status is now on hold. They have no explanation of what this status means and I have searched the forums and the web and the cic website. Does any one know what this means? I tried to call cic but the call center is too busy I will try in the morning. I just wanted to see if any one else knows the meaning of this change. ???

Your BOWP will not be processed until you have passed the R10 completeness check. This is likely the reason your permit application is on hold. Until the completeness of your application is verified they can go no further with the application. If your BOWP is approved then at least you'll know you've passed the first hurdle for your PR application. Try to be patient.

You wont receive a second AOR for passing R10 check. You can apply for BOWP at anytime after submitting your eAPR. Cic officers will just ensure your R10 is complete before processing your BOWP.
I received OINP's 600 points in express entry. And I used same account to submit e-APR. Do I still need to provide OINP certificate?
