Waiting for my first set of GCMS notes.

A true lesson in patience this has become.

Any idea or estimate how long could it take? I've heard one year is an average :-|

My status was
" we need additional documents. we will send you a message" .. something like that.

It was because we are in SS and CIC is waiting for additional documents from external security bodies. yesterday my status changed to "'the additional documents you provided are being reviewed".

Guys and ideas about this update??

It was a glitch, random people received random updates

Hi, I am PNP inland AOR Jan 2017. I got my BOWP renewed last year and it will be expiring again in this summer. Can I renew it again this year since I have no answer from CIC on my permanent resident application ?

I am in my 14th month. SS started 9 months ago. CSIS says they have completed my security check and CBSA says they do not have an open file on me. My employer in Canada has given me a deadline to become PR or they wont hire me. I sent a letter to Ottawa explaining all of this and only got the template response. Not the slightest of customization. The damn letter starts with Dear Sir/Madam...

No clue! I don't even know what this means. Does it mean that they have closed the file on me, or that they have not yet received a request from IRCC to process my security screening. It's all a big question mark!
