For all of you who are still waiting because of (Security Screening), we are looking into filing a class action writ of mandamus against IRCC in order to push them to process the security screening of applications within a reasonable time frame, and we will have a much better chance of success if we do it together.
One of the most prominent members of this forum, Legalfalcon, has promised to help us in this process and perhaps, find a lawyer to do it for us pro bono (for free). But first, he has to gauge and see if there is enough interest to pursue this. For this reason, he has created a Google doc and has asked us (those who are past the 6-month period and are under SS) to fill it out. The link to the form is:
Nobody knows how long it will take. It is said the range is from 3 months to more than 1 year. And there are some people who have complicated background may have a Profound Security Screening for years.
So if you are as unlucky as me to undergo the Security Screening, I should say good luck to you.... sincerely......
Additionally, I was told to completely forget the thing about immigration now, and just move on to my own life----job or family. It's the only way to avoid to be too much depressed. Haha~~~

neither 1st 4 nor last 4. you want any ss info there . check activities section. look explicitly for security screening. right now i dont think you are in ss, as it also appears in admissibilitybscetion just below the normal security as its sub activity and ypur post seems to suggest that you dont have it.
