People who got nomination from Ontario got PPR easily, while for rest provinces its a long waiting time.

I am OINP. AOR 25-Jan & still waiting....

Hi Guys,

I have an update. Called IRCC last night and spoke with an agent who said that everything in my application is 'passed' and the final review is also done. However, he was not sure when the PPR request will be sent or what was holding it back with the officer.

Visa Office - Ottawa. All he said was the application is still under 6 months so you may want to wait.

AOR Jan 25, FSW-O, BGIP since 19th May.

Follow the IVR steps relevant to you and give your details. You will reach a point where they will ask if you want to listen to your status. Say yes.

After you are done listening to your status (basically they will read out copy-paste from your online application statuses), then select the option to speak to the agent. If you are lucky, they will connect (with a wait time of 20-30 minutes). If not, they will say all agents are busy and the call will disconnect.

I did call and talked to an agent. The agent said my file is with a local visa office (london) and she don't have details for my case. I should call london vo. The IVR was also repeating that they don't give out info for local visa office processing.

I am OINP and I got an update on my application yesterday, my BG was "NA" since 07/mar, and now it shows "We are processing your background check".
My BG changes were like this:

• AOR 26/jan
• Medicals passed: 15/fev/2017
• BG: NN=>NS (15/fev/2017)
• BG: NS=>NN (02/mar/2017)
• New system update
• BG: Not applicable (NA) (07/mar/2017)
• BG: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. (21/06/2017) - 106 days after NA

Can you tellme on which # did you call them? And did you connect after going through the automated service that they have recently launched? For me, whenever the option comes to 'talk to an Agent press 0' ; I am always told by the automated service that I should call some other time as there is a huge influx of calls and then its cut.
