Last Night my BG Status Changed to 'NA'

Hi Guys,

First of all,
Congrats to all those who have received their PPRs!
Congrats to those who have landed
And All the Best to those who are waiting for their PPRs

Now the Questions:-
1. Those of you who have landed, how long do we have to make a landing after we get the passport back from PPR?
2. What steps did you take around updating the local address in your CIC profile after landing? And where specifically did you update the address?

3. have anyone of you landed, updated the address and came back to US or any other country to wrap up things in your native/origin country? How was the process?

Hello everyone. I have been read the forum silently since I got my AOR at Jan. 16
My medical passed on March and now nothing is updated but the BG is NA. Anyone else has the same situation? Is my waiting time still normal? Thanks

Very Much Normal...most of us Jan- AORs post 13th Jan are sailing in the same boat.

Need help urgently,
On login today My application status shows cancelled, MY BG was in progress till few hours ago.

I dint received any message on email and CIC until now.

App Status : Your application was cancelled.
All other fields : Na
Final Decision is still showing : Your application is in progress. We will send you message once decision has been made.

Can you advice me the next action that could i take.

Medical Passed - 27 Jan
17 April : BG in progress.

20 April : Application cancel

Also my SINP nomination is expiring on 26th April 2017.

I also tried calling CIC, they said that they cannot help me since my file is in India.

Did you check for any attachment / letter in your CIC account? Stating the reason for cancellation? Please check your spam folder in your inbox as well.

Should I e worried?

1. You have till the expiry date written on your visa that will be on the passport and in your CIC account.

2. I didn't have to update my address but when you land, you will be asked by the border officer to provide an address where your PR

card will be sent to.

I phoned cic to verify if they have received my documents, and also asked when will my file be reviewed.
The agent told me its showing under reviewed and normally they would see the estimated review time if not. I guess this may help us understand the status of our applications.

yes this is strange, I was expecting PPR Email but after look at this , I am so upset.

Anyways thanks and I will see what can be done. I have raised a CEC.. lets see what happens.. :-[
