Hi my aor is at 10th of january but my status only moved from not applicable ti not needed and then not applicable again. do you think i am at step 1 ?
Their favourite day is Friday - that is when lot of PPR does come.
My observations are following:
They seem to move applications from queue to queue.
That means:
1. First queue is for medicals (that one is done rather fast in most cases)
2. Queue for criminality check and also to start security checks - at this point you can get rejections for PPC or ADR for Schedule A or your detailed travelling history.
3. Queue for R10 - here you can get further rejections for missing documents. Once you pass this you will also get criminality confirmed.
4. A11.2 Queue - at this point rejections for wrong NOC, incorrect reference letters or too low POF can happen. This one is also pretty fast.
5. Queue for LVO tranfer - they transfer applications to LVO in batches (so maybe just 1x per week to your LVO)
6. Queue for second analyst confimation at LVO. Only done after all security checks are done as well.
7. Queue for release of PPR under your stream (FSW, CEC, PNP).
If they have ADR or they need deeper investigation your application will be postponed and waiting for that to be done before resuming and putting to the waiting queue again.
I am hoping to see my BG going from NA to IP2 by the end of the week. Will update you guys once I see the change.
Let's hope for fast progress in all our applications soon!
How come that for some applicants it takes only few days to move from BG NA to IP(2), but for some it takes up to 15 days and more. Is it relevant to travel history or number of dependent or something?

How about your Medical status? Is it PASSED? Btw, we don't have Not Needed status anymore. It was renamed as Not Applicable by CIC after March 7th. If I understood your stays correctly, your status is Not Applicable from day 1? Is that correct?
Just to let you know that, it is not necessary that every case should follow the above status. There are some scenarios where applicants received their PPR without any BG change. As long as you are not hearing anything, we can safely assume that things are flowing smoothly. Worrying or thinking too much will not help us speed up the process since it is out of our control. Please wait for your turn paitently and definitely you'll hear something soon.
No need to worry anything since you and I can't do anything. Is your Medicals passed? There are cases where people got their PPR without any change. If you want to understand insight of your application then ordering GCMS notes will help you. Once again, ordering too early will not get you useful info.
I personally don't think that you should get worried, because every case is different and I am sure it's not only you in that situation.
Could you please share your stream and timeline as well as whether you have dependents on your application and if your travel history was a busy one.
Unfortunately, we don't have any specific thing which will tell us where our file is being processed at. With the help of Status that are available in my CIC account, we can assume based on the facts that happened with other applicants. Please share us your timelines and will try to share my experiences.
