Not yet, so at the time they were made my security check was not yet done. But my application is now transfered to LVO, so more or less, they are just waiting for that to be finished. (maybe Vienna will check Europol or something like that).
I received AOR on January 7, 2017 and medical passed on February 17, 2017. Near about same time background check went into progress. My background changed to Not applicable around February 27, 2017. It went again into progress on March 09, 2017 for the second time. I am CEC outland and my application is with Ottawa office.
1. I never receive an email in my account. I have to check on daily basis to see if there is an update. Is that normal.
2. When I can except a PPR request as most people say that it is within week when second back ground check goes in progress.
3. I am presently in India. Will my file be transferred to India (NDVO) before I get PPR?

For Question 1: I only received an email when my medicals changed to pass. When changes took place with BG (NN to NS and NS to IP), I didn't receive any notification.
Guys, FSW Inland AOR 11th Jan. Medical passed today. Background Check in process and No additional documents required. Just one quick question, does BG check in process means my A10 and A11 is complete?
I'm an FSW USA applicant too. Has the timeline for those applying from USA always been this slow? You're probably the first one from January AOR group to have Medicaid cleared. Also, did you get an email when that changed?
I am Jan 2017 FSW Inland applicant too. My eAPR is Jan 17. I have a question.
I and my wife submitted the application for PR, where I am the primary applicant and my wife is a secondary application and we have claimed points for her education and IELTS etc. In my application I had submitted my wife's Canadian work experience only for the information. However we got no points as her experience was less than a year. Now she has changed employer. Do you think we should inform CIC about change of my wife's job? There is no change in my status.

I personally think you cannot increase your points due to her work experience or anything else now, because you have already submitted your PR application. You actually don't need those extra points anyways, as the points can give you more chance to receive an invitation to apply, which you don't need any more.
And if you mean to inform CIC about the new employer, I don't think that kind of change needs to be reported to CIC. I think in cases like marriage, divorce, having new baby, etc. you may need to inform CIC.
I got wedded after AOR, and have added my spouse to my application, and have updated her details (passport, medicals,e.tc.) all of these bears her maiden name. I am thinking she gets to update her passport in the event of ppr.

Yes the question was only with respect to updating CIC guys about change in her job. I know that if there is a change in job for the primary applicant, I think we need to inform CIC. But was only confused if I need to update about my wife as well.
Well I think you are right, as this is not a major change in status, it might not be important to inform CIC about it.
