Congrats! Now they will take your application fee for sure!
Guess they're at batch of the end of December.
Next week they'll start doing the early January cases!

Yes... but this part has moved back to the original entry.
When you log into your account you now have two entries right? One for ITA and one for EE.
When you go into the ITA (click the blue button) you can see you status and the if you go in further (blue button again) you can see your uploaded files.
Well if you do the same on the EE entry you can see the submitted forms.
Since I have some time now(nothing to do but keep checking for status change :'( ), I am trying to understand this whole process.
Can someone tell me how files are transferred to local office ? I heard some files gets processed at Ottawa itself. On what basis is this selection done ? Have any Indian applicants been processed at Ottawa itself.

Once your application has been initially reviewed/approved by the intake office and considered to be completed and meet the requirements, it should in theory be transferred/sent to another processing office (overseas or in Canada) for next processing steps.
As far as i know the VO is determined by your residence... but dont take my word for it. As i've seen some being processed in Canada while they were overseas.

You cannot select the visa office that will treat your application. Usually the one that is responsible for the country of your residence will take it over. But sometimes they are too busy so a different VO takes your application. Anyway that VO will contact you later regarding PPR or COPR.

The processing of applications are done by Ottawa CPC (normally), the application can be sent to any VO based on the work load. Once your application is processed and ready for PPR, CIC will ask you to send the Passport, other information to the VO near your current country of residence.
