Congrats on this change.
Mostly when applicants applying outside Canada get background check in progress status, it means expect your PPR from 1-30days sometimes even more than 30 days. This is certainly a good sign.
What was your background check status before it changed to in process?
I was checking my account everyday once. The status were the usual ones:-
profile=open
review in progress
medicals=not needed at this time
submitted documents= (Blank)
Background= not needed at this time
final decision not started
My new status is as follows:-
profile=open
review in progress
medicals=PASSED
submitted documents= NO ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS NEEDED AT THIS TIME
Background= IN PROGRESS
final decision=not started
I was also surprised as till yesterday my statuses had no changes. To day, to my surprise also, my profile showed changed statuses.
I am Ontario Nominee.
I am just worried if I will get schedule-A or not? I have heard they ask for Schedule 4 though. Lets see.
Are these changes really on the greener side? (I am not getting too excited as yet!)
I think it is a good sign. Although this is the first time I am seeing this kind of jump to background check in progress for an outlander.
We didn't submit schedule 4 also and haven't gotten a request to submit it.
Why do you want to get schedule A? They only request for schedule A if something is not clear about some parts of your history, or missing months, or not properly explaining visa rejections/deportation when you submitted your app.
I got schedule A request for some four months in 2012. They wanted details of what I was doing. I answered yes to a statutory question and they didn't even care about it. My spouse who is the PA also answered yes to One of statutory questions and didn't even get schedule A request, at least not yet.
So relax and let's see what next week brings for you.
So all in all we saw about 15 or round about 15 pprs for September, October and November applicants... almost all CEC inaland, only one PNP-Inland giuy PPR yesterday.

I think it's okay. I would move it to personal history but make sure to explain this in LOE

Urgent response needs!!! In my EE profile work history I have a job that I did, almost irrelevant and lasted for barely one year. Is it possible for me to remove it from my eAPR work history and add it in personal history. If I do it will not affect my point in anyway. The reason is that getting reference letter and other documents for this job might not be possible. More so its a job compulsory for every university graduate in my country. You get deployed to where you will work for one year and within this period you only work 4 days a week. I want to know if it's possible to remove it from my eAPR work history and it will not affect my application.
One thing I've come to realize with inland applications is that although it takes forever to pass medicals, once that is done, PPR can come within 4-7 weeks.
Is it just me hoping that almost half of Jan AOR will get PPR by April?
