When you get COPR after PPR, your COPR validity ends when your medical does, as far as I am aware.

I just spoke to someone who said that he was issued a visa with a 6 month validity even though his medical was expiring within ten days for his PR, so hopefully they'll do something similar with me.

I finally got the email few minutes ago. Despite checking my cic account almost 5 - 6 daily. I am very grateful to God for making my Canada dreams come through, after studying for so long just to be in this country. This is to encourage everyone waiting to keep thinking positively and thank God for only Him can make this happen.

I have the same question. At the border, the process is quick and also you don't need to pay. And the disadvantage is you have to travel to the border.
Any advantage for applying online?
