IMM5645E - is for family information form (this form is to be submitted by only the principle applicant.)
IMM5406 - is for additional family information form. (This form is to be submitted by the principal applicant and the spouse separately)

IRCC is asking your for family information, not additional family information. So you can use IMM5645SE and declare your family. IRCC will ask for this from is they want to ensure that your immediate family is present in Canada or not or check their credentials.

No concerns. Validate your COPR and then you can go to any service Canada office to get new updated SIN. You do not need work permit anymore after that (they will tear your WP once they validate your COPR anyway) and can legally work without any problems. You only have to wait 4-6 weeks to get your PR card which will allow you to freely travel outside Canada again.

You have to report your new SIN to your HR compensation team and CRA as well. I would suggest to get your taxes done for 2016 before you validate COPR just to save the hassle of waiting for SIN to get updated before you can file your taxes.

Trust me, I'm just over it at this point. Unnecessary stress in my life really. Patiently waiting, reading the forum, and checking my profile for movement every couple days. I hope the routine drops to once a week if CIC keeps up at this slow pace now.

I wish I had that luxury - my visa ends soon so I'm pretty anxious to get PPR

Do you know if the "credits" from our OLD SIN could be transferred to our new SIN?

I was an international student and had also worked using PGWP. I had quite a substantial amount of "education/student" tax credits that I could use.

I agree with you. I went from logging onto myCIC twice an hour, down to once every 2 weeks.

I won't plan too much unless I get PPR. Way too much stress to plan for something that you don't know when it would come, or even IF it would come. Cheerz~

when did you apply though? the processing time is 36 days and they are currently on February 1st. My application was submitted on January 30th.

HEY, I APPLIED THRU PAPER APPLICATION.. SO FOR ME ITS GONNA TAKE LONG.. YOU CAN CALL CIC AND CHECK YOUR STATUS.
P.S I APPLIED ON JAN 15.

Hi,

Be aware that you cannot change job while being on implied status. I guess you can when you will get the BOWP but until then you need to stick to the job, which you have (this is one of the rule of implied status)
