i think its fair to say if anyone gets a reply saying your file is being processed in NS or in Ottowa... thats as good as an out of office reply and can be ignored...
I believe you. i have sent mail to Ottawa twice and got same response of "the application is at CIO Sydney Nova Scotia"

As for me, am expecting my PPR any moment from now regardless of the EMAIL
I got 2 replies on the same day. 1 says is being processed at CPC Sydney, other one says will be preocessed at CPC Ottawa, So i thought not to trust the email
Guys, I'm happy to report that I have gotten my PPR!!!
My only problem right now is trying to figure out how to get a pre-paid envelope from an international courier so that they can send me my COPR.
Fedex and DHL say it's not possible to do it without an account. And in order to have an account you must be a company, they won't do it for a regular citizen. Any ideas?
I have my medical expiring on the 19th of April (Only reason why the medical was done so long ago was that once my work permit in Canada expired, I went travelling for a while, so I got the medical done before leaving Canada, didn't expect to get the ITA so late).
Nevertheless, my medical was passed on the 22nd of Feb, on the 19th of March, my BG check went from IP to NA. Then on the 23/24th March my Medical changed to not needed. A few folks here and I came to the conclusion that it was due to the medical expiring on the 19th and that CIC won't issue a visa with the medical expiring so soon. I've tried contacting both the LVO in pretoria and the CIC office in Ottawa to no avail.
Any ways, about 25min ago my medical status changed to passed again. Any ideas as to what could be happening? My BG check is at NA, still waiting for IP2.
I've booked another medical test for next Thursday (Couldn't do it any sooner as the Doctor is on holiday), so in the likely event that I need to undergo another test, it's ready.
Any ideas as to what could be happening with this?
Thanks guys

While most of you must have got your PR or must be very close to getting it. One of the best tools which everyone is aware of is GCMS notes, the only accurate way to predict what is happening with your application. Some of you know me and some of you have approached me to help you with answering your questions. I request that when you apply for GCMS next, consider ordering from them from https://www.getgcms.com[/b]]https://www.getgcms.com.
i Need Advice please,
I am FSW Outland
My AOR 21 Jan,2017
Medical Passed 8 Feb 2017
BG Not Applicable ( i was not checking the BG at the beggining, and i start at 15 Feb, and since then its NA)
i sent email to ask about the situation of the file, and i got the below reply
Dear Sir/ Madam,
Please note that your application is at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa and is being processed as per our regulatory timeline. Please note that we cannot confirm when your file will be ready for finalization.
We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required.
My Question is : is that mean the file not yet transferred to the VO ? or it means the file will be processed in Ottawa till the End!
i thank all who can advise me about my situation.
Why is that good? Does a mail from CIC mean there is a problem? how long does it take to change to IP2? Hoping PPR is received before end of April cos I will relocate in May

It would also nice to see some comparisons according to Visa Office and regions (some like NDVO are big enough for alone standing statistics, but others have just 2 to 3 people in the tracker and from that no good statistics is possible).
