We can start a thread which LVO is the worst one. It will be rarther tight race between Singapur, Sao Paolo, Accra, Pretoria or others. But even some from Europe can be a good racers - Vienna for example...

Hi all,

I got my passport submission request today. My AOR date was January 7, 2017. Medical passed around Feb 17 and same day background check went into progress. Around march 3, 2017 my status again went to not applicable. Around March 09, 2016 my background check again went into progess and today I got passport request.

I am cec outland and presently in India. My application was being processed by CPC ottawa.

So background check went into progress twice and they didn't transferred my file to india.

your BG is NN according to old system. That status is pretty normal.

In reality security checks are running on your application, so nothing to worry about.

Hi all,

This is my first post on this forum but have been following it since last few days!
Congratulations to all the folks who have received PPR and good luck to those who are waiting for it.
My details are below:

Category: FSW Outland (PA+1 dep)
AOR: 2nd Jan'17
Medicals passed: 6th Jan'17
BG: NN->NS->NN (15th Jan) Now it is Not Applicable.

Since then, there have been no further updates.

I sent a mail to CPC Ottawa to know my visa office and got a reply that my visa application is being processed at NDVO.
Any idea how much time it would take to get PPR since my application is at local visa office now. Thanks in advance!

I got my AOR on 9th Jan 2017, ITA received on November 16 2016

1. Application status: We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
2. Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
3. Review of medical results: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
4. Review of additional documents: Not applicable
5. Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
6. Background check:Not applicable.
7. Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.


Am I the only one with no updates at all on the application ?
