Guys... Something really weird happened today. Today morning I received an email stating that I have a new mail in My CIC. When I checked my breathing almost stopped.... It was mine and my family's passport request. They asked me to send our passport within 30 days.
My application status did not change in my Cic account. Only medical section changed from in progress to passed and that too on 20th Feb.
Feeling extremely happy and also scared as I did not hear any situation like this before. Alhamdulliah... I pray to Allah that everything goes smoothly now.

This is the email format they require:

IMPORTANT: You must provide us with your application number in the subject line of your email and include in the body of your email the following information:

* Surname and Given name(s)
* Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
* Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number
* Category of Immigration (CEC, Provincial Nominee, Family Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Temporary Resident)

They didn't reply me when I wrote to them on weekends (Eastern Time) , but they did reply me swiftly when I wrote to ask them during weekdays.

Congrats Sumaiya. Can you share when your Background changed to NS, NN etc? Also if you know your Visa Office?

Same here. I sent them an email on Saturday and got no response but when I sent an email today, I got a response an hour later with my VO

My medicals passed on 20 Feb and no updates since then. Not sure what's happening with our applications. I think many of the CEC folks are in the same boat.
