Im a 4th feb pnp inland and my bg is ip2 since 27july .. I am Pakistani ...i called many cic many times and agent said that they are doing background check they have sent request to Canadian security agencies and waiting for their response .. else everything is done medical is passed eligibility is passed
Today i got a reply from Ottawa that my file is under additional verification ... does this mean m stuck under security screening ? How much time will it take ?, does anyone knows what is the maximum time in which we can get ppr ?

I share the same issue here, IP2 on July 25th, I got the same reply from Ottawa. I ordered my notes 4 days ago to confirm that I am under SS and just still waiting

Passport sent - August 19 2017

Can any one tell me how long are they taking to return the passport these days ?

congrats, when did your BG change to IP2 and how long does it take from IP2 till PPR?

Atlast file moved to ip2 today after 196 days...VO - NDVO feb 6th AOR

Got the same update. Hope they don't go back to their nap zone again.

Did anyone tried contacting NDVO if your file already reached there?

One feb 10th applicant who contacted them had been informed that officers are busy at this moment and once they start processing it would take 20 to 30 days to get an update or final decision.

Any now shall we start counting for another 20 to 30 days

Have tried contacting them multiple times. They do not provide any information whatsoever on the call.

We just have to wait it out... and hope someday somebody will finally look into our files.

Hey buddy! I'm also Feb 15 AOR. After I read your comment I just log in to my account and guess what, my Background Status changed to IP2 as well!!!
After being NA since April 27, now it turned into "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." I guess this is IP(2) right? Does IP(2) means my Security check has been cleared?

Also any expert in this forum know how long it takes from IP(2) to PPR based on current processing time?
