I ordered gcms about 3 weeks ago so hopefully come soon I just think local offices are less resourced and slower and processing which I think reflects in our delays rather than anything actually wrong with applications
Hey, I am currently in this status as well. But my case jumped directly from "the next step is to conduct a background check" to "We are processing your background check...". The "Not applicable" status hasn't shown up prior to my latest status. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Same happened in my case as well on 26th April. Then in early June I emailed them saying is BG stuck because of any employer not having responded to them. That's when request for Colombian PCC came which works pretty much the same as the Hong Kong or one can say worse as a third party is involved.
I now have a feeling that we are suffering from on the job learning of visa officers. Moreover, there is no system to ensure if this PCC has entered our files. Hence, we can do nothing but pray that these pieces of jigsaw puzzle add up into something concrete.
A general comment/question: Why the PNP applications are being processed super slowly? They are pre-approved by the provinces and provinces have already completed a round of verification. Technically, they should be processed faster than the other applications. Isn't it true?
