I have a quick question: BOWP Application fee is refundable?

I applied for BOWP when my PR application was in a final review but I got my PR recently and my BOWP Application is still under process. Now I don't need BOWP. can I ask CIC to do refund fee if possible because I got PR?

Please advice me

So if the application states " We are processing your application" you cant withdraw anymore at that point?

Even i called today and was connected to the agent with no issues. Maybe u need to try at different times and they don't transfer if very high call volume. Keep trying until you are put on hold.

Hi I have the very similar question as yours, but I haven't started my BOWP application just out of the reason of what you have come across. I don't want to waste a few hundred hard earned money for the BOWP which might not be needed.

My AOR Feb 15, FSW Inland, and now BGNA since Apr 27. My current work permit will expire in mid Sept. I saw a few FSW people with Feb AOR started to get PPRs so I expect mine is coming soon as well. So I decided to wait until late June or even July to see if I need to apply for my BOWP.

My question is if I had bad luck and I can't get my PR until my current WP will expire, then I submit my BOWP application at that time, can I still work before I hear a decision for my BOWP?

Great to join the group and I did find some really helpful information here, glad to see so many brothers/sisters with the same hope and support each other, which greatly relieve the anxiety of waiting in such a hard time. I would also like to share my timeline and let's hope for the best together.

I also ordered my GCMS notes on April 26, 2017 and received on May 24, 2017. The notes was printed on May 19, and the last update on it was May 3. Most items (Eligibility, Med, Criminality) are passed but Security NOT STARTED.

However I did noticed that on my notes it stated that "Application Assignment due date 2017/06/01", does it means my security will be done and my BG will change to IP(2) before that date? Any forecast when my PPR will be coming?
