hey guys, is the background check - "Your application is in process. The next step is to conduct background check" IP1 ?

It is Not Started in terminology but can be treated as IP1 because you either get NS or IP1

MEDICALS PASSED - 14TH MARCH
NBG- 14TH MARCH
IP1- 11TH MAY
NA- 12 MAY
IP2 -19 MAY
PPR - 23 MAY

Just a blind guess for FSW: Last FSWO PPR came from AOR 17 Feb. For US applications they probably send PPR from Ottawa. If CIC clear applications in batches then can we expect that some applications till AOR 17 Feb have reached their local VO and can we expect some PPRs from local VO this week !!!

Feb 8 Aor received PPR directly from NA since day 1.

I submitted my application and got
AOR - FEB 6
Medicals Passed - March 3
Background check is in progress since March 3
And there is no update on my application since then.

Do any have the same situation?

I'm in the same boat, AOR Feb 14th medical passed on March 13th since then my background check is in progress and no changes since then.

AOR-23 Feb, nothing have changed since then. Is there anyone who can tell me what happens?

Application status: We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Aor 17- feb- 2017, fsw outland from india, pls if anyone can tell @ which VO my file would be residing now? BG is NA since 3 weeks. Have already ordered gcms but yet to receive. So anyone having an idea pls do share

On my gcms notes it stated my primary office at cio office and secondary as Ottawa there is no mention of local Visa office anywhere in my application, at the time I was living in uk so I presumed that my file would have been transferred to the local office at some stage as per process anyone else got any ideas on this?. I read somewhere that London office weren't getting more recent applications maybe this is why their is a delay? I'm back in Australia at the moment was thinking of transferring my addresss back here has anyone had any experience with the Sydney Australia office is it quicker?
