If my current country of residence is Canada (but I'm from Australia), does that mean my application will be processed inland? Or will they still send it to Australia?

I submitted my file on Feb 12 and shortly I got the 1st email, the official receipt for payment, not AOR. Then, I got my AOR 2 mins after the 1st email.

I thought it's an automatically generated email or is 2 mins too fast and abnormal?

Application status hasn't changed at all ever since.
