I read sometime ago that certain countries will be required compulsory fingerprints.

I think this is cic attempt to make the GUI comprehensive for all kinds of applications.

BTW as far as I know, for visitor/student visas, sometimes they ask for bio-metrics which is a fingerprint checkup. they ask for bio-metrics from certain nationalities including Iranian (like me), but only for a visitor visa, a study permit or a work permit.

I can only see a comment that additional docs are needed. But what are those I cannot see even in view submitted documents. Very tensed.

Did you check you messages for a message called " request letter"..?! If it's not there, they should send it shortly, that how you know what documents to provide.

I understand that this may be a system update with a new biometric section and UCI. In my case I can see "We need addtional docs to ....". There is no request letter.

My profile is also updated, with all bells and whistles applicants mentioned recently, I like that view, good improvements
