Hi ns@2. Did you get acknowledge back from the nominated province that baby has been added? Did they also send revised nomination letter?

I hope it is just an intimation to them and they would do it without any concern.

My EE AOR is Feb 15th 2016, and I am still waiting for the background check to be complete, it has been more than 7 months now.
Have you guys received the RPRF payment request yet ?

Hey..i am in the same boat. AOR is 1st Feb, FSW Inland and NDVO office. When I called CIC 2 weeks back they said that my BG check has started but not completed yet( The status in myCIC is till not needed at this time). The agent sent out a note to VO to get back to be me if anything else is required. Hopefully we hear back soon. My file was transferred to NDVO on April 6th, I don't know if its relevant.

The trend with NDVO is that, they don't actually update the profile when the bg check goes in progress, like Ottawa vo does. NDVO just changes the bg status a day or two before sending out a ppr. So no need to worry.

Hi Can27, Nominated province usually does not update the certificate and CIC also does not need the amended certificate from them.However, in my opinion,it is better to inform the respective province proactively of current circumstances. Anyway CIC has the authority to share latest information about nominees with the province and usually they do it.

almost 7 months and 3 GCMS notes later I got PPR.
I will stick around, in case if anyone needs any help.
