Hi Every one,

I am a BC PNP my AOR is Dec 1, 2015. I passed the 6months mark on Jun 1. I asked for my GSMC notes. In the notes, I found the following:
Eligibility: Passed
Medicals: Passed
Criminality: Passed
RCMP Screening: Passed
US Screening: Passed

Despite of all the above, My CIC Portal status is still in "background check in progress." I called CIC and I was told that the same thing. I am still in "background check." Yesterday, I sent a message through "secure.cic.gcDOTca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-engDOTaspx " and today I got the following reply:


"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). We have verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is in process. If further information is needed, the responsible office will contact you. Please visit our website to see how long it may take to process your application or the online Help Centre for more information. You can search by typing keywords.
Please do not reply to this email.

Can someone tell me what is going on? Or provide some advice?
