This is my case, however, I do not have a BOWP, I still have my WP through the LMIA. AOR April 11th and waiting.

Hi bobsun,
My friend's PGWP is expiring in Nov this year and she needs to extend it (pp expiry case). Can she just flagpole at the border to get it extended? Or she needs to apply for extension online, pay fees and then go to the border? There's not much clarity in the forums on this. Thanks

Thank you Lazybone. This link is really helpful. One more thing I need is, when I start my online application, it starts with a questionnaire if I am eligible to apply online. And before it asks about my information it starts with my wife information. and as if she already has a TRV, work permit and also an applicant with me in PR, I select yes. It takes me directly to eligible for Open Work Permit.
Kindly help with the online application procedure for BOWP.

i know people have done it in the past, they applied online for the extension, went to the border and got the remaining PGWP. I havent came across anyone who hasnt applied online and went to the border. i would do it before my PGWP expires, and i believe your friend got the passport renewed. in my case i have recently lost the PGWP. i hope this helps.

My BGC is still not neede at this time.

It changed first June 2 to in progress after I submitted the docs that cic asked for, JUne 4 it was changed to Not needed at this time till now.

If you have provided all the documents needed and if the vo is satisfied, then additional documents will not be requested.
