Because I lived in Canada for 2.5yrs as a temporary worker. They will ask for police clearance certificates from any country you lived in for 6months or more.
Yeah I read that too. See below an exert from the request letter. They gave me 2months to submit. I did it in 1 month but from here it was a drawn out and costly process!
"RCMP Criminal Record Check: If your residence period in Canada has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide a certified criminal record check. You must provide a certified RCMP criminal record check based on fingerprints. Please check the CIC website (Obtaining Police Certificates) and refer to RCMP certificates in Canada for details on obtaining a RCMP Criminal Record Check."
Is there any candidate here who applied for EEPR as FSW-inland-PNP nominated in April 2016 (or before), with spouse outside Canada and included on the application?
So if BG check has been changed to in progress means it is a good sign for PPR or still it is required not needed at this time and finally in progress.

What is your AOR? I am a FSW with a Job Offer also from pakistan. This is my timeline.
ITA: 9 March.
AOR 24 April
Meds passed: 25 April
BG: in progress 27 April
BG: not needed at this time 28 April
Nothing after that.
BG: in progress 22 June and still the same.
Any Idea what's going on with my application?? When would I be expecting PPR?.
I do and I was using his details today, I had even created the consent letter. Then I read the line that says, and i'm paraphrasing here, "the person who the information you are requesting for must be a Canadian citizen, resident, or currently living in Canada."
