Hi, In a weeks time after the medical passed, the BG check moved from 'We are processing your background check' to 'Not applicable' yesterday. seems there are some reasonable movement for PNP inlands as well.

I am not sure if following info is what we are trying to find out:

Under the Express Entry BC stream, qualifying applicants will receive priority processing of their federal permanent residence application.

But if I understand correctly, PNP has priority at federal stage.

My friend received an ITA while she was still waiting to be invited under PNP - the BC PNP officer contacted her to invite her to apply under PNP and told her to decline the ITA and accept the PNP because her PR application would be processed faster if she had PNP

This page also says that CIC undertake to expediate PNP applications. Doesn't seem to be the case though

Guys these facts are enough to just raise question for immigration minister to look at the concern of slow movement in EE PNP inland app. From my opinion we should raise this question to him asap if we want CIC to act on apps fast.....

when did it turn BG IP ?

Seems this is the normal trend for us PNP inland applicants. even for october applicants, i see the first to second status BG change in 10 days time after the medical passed. Then the next change for BG before PPR request has taken 3 months. Can you tell me that when your medical got passed and BG turned IP?

I remember reading somewhere that once IRCC opens your application, they have a deadline to finish a certain stage in the checking process. Anyone knows if it is truth or just a myth?

On the last page: "ready to finalize"

Last updated on 9th Feb.

Means, all PNP-inlands have to wait for a while.

Hello friend.
Honestly it is just weird that your second BG check has not started yet. Other PNP-Inland files that I know including mine are on the level of second BG check, eligibility passed.
Just check your eligibility in GCSM notes.
I think as soon as they start your second BG check, you'll get PPR in max. 10 days since last update on 9th February is not normal at all.

Really? My second BCG was IP on either the 17th or 20th of Feb. It's been a month since... :S

that's bad I hope you're regularly checking your email and check all the folders in your email sometimes they go under promotion folder .
I am sure you did but if that's something you don't know then It's worth to share.
please keep us updated hope you get PPR soon
