Are you on closed workpermit ? if not I think you can change it as long as you update CIC about your new job you're good to change. and if you are on a closed work permit then be tough keep calm
This is for sure a problem with our location as I think they want to balance between people applying from canada vs rest of the world. This could be something to do with their statistics. Just a guess
Is it true? I though you cannot change your job until you have your PR approved. If you can change your job after AOR, then this whole Provincial nomination thing would lost its meaning, right?
I am January 19th AOR with recommended pass. I changed my job in March and notified CIC about the changes. I have a post-graduation work permit. I don't think CIC has an issue with changing job as long as you are staying in the same provience.
180th day today and I am losing now. hats-off to those who have been waiting more than 9-10 months.
This is Crap pay more money and wait more than usual.
Hey guys, you have no idea how big of a traffic delay there is at the passport stamping stage. I got PPR on the 23 of Jun and sent PP on the 25th, and it just got stamped today. I know it sounds easy for me to say this cuz I already got ppr, but that's not my point. What I'm trying to say is that once cic can manage to stamp the passports within 1 week since received, you guys will see the ppr rain starts again. Good luck for u all, I've been through this so I know how painful it is.

From my understanding, once a cic agent confirms that your case is completed and awaiting for final decision, it is just a matter of time to get your ppr.

My understanding is that your nomination is based on the job offer from the initial sponsoring employer and that if you change to another employer, technically BC could withdraw nomination which gave 600 points towards your Express Entry in federal. Are you currently on your original post grad work permit, or have you applied for an extension?
Thanks buddy. You should be in the next batch to receive PPR, when the golden email comes, you will forget all the painful and frustrating waiting you have been through, and that's what it matters.

I am on an original work permit which is expiring end of next month. I am going to apply for a bridge work permit if I don't get PPR by the end of this month.

One thing I don't understand is that why there are PPR for CEC? If they are delay in stamping then all the categories should get affected. I see there are PPR coming for CEC throughout this month.

Well, PNP stream is being discriminatd is not a hiden secret and we all know that. But think about this, say cic is stamping 100 Passports per day and issuing 50 pprs so that backlog files are reduced by 50 per day, and CEC gets all the 50 pprs since they are somehow previlliged. However when the traffic gets better, cic can stamp 100 PP per day and issue 100 PPRs as well because there's no more backlog. When this happens, CEC can have 90 PPRs which is still the majority, but we share at least 10.
