I also have almost nothing. I just finish my master degree and I had one year of experience in Canada, all my work experience before was during my studies and I could not used it.
So they really had to check one job for me
Just sharing some experience with you!
I have four friends that went to Edmonton VO (all CEC inland, we were co-workers in Canada when I arrived)
First case was very fast! My friend AOR was end of august and she got the PR end of november (3 months).
Second case was in the timeline : AOR mid-july and PR mid-december (5 months).
The third case was special, it took exactly one year for them : february 2018 to february 2019.
However, they lost their job, they had a baby and they moved back to France for three months and they moved back to Toronto (everything is delay everytime there is a change, so that's a lot). I am not sure, but the VO might have changed too.
The fourth one took eight months, she changed her job to follow her husband to Toronto : may 2018 to december 2018.
So, maybe Edmonton VO is not that long... if everything is in order and nothing change, maybe they do it in between 5-7 months... of what I have heard here. Let's keep hope !!!

thanks. hopefully we see more of these updates from this VO. being patient is not that easy with this process. we see people getting PPR's within a couple of months for some but for others they are not even touching the files until 4 or 5 months.
