Anyone's application got processed in Edmonton visa office?

I got my application approved after 16 moths ,they took long time to complete

I got decision made email today from the CSE form I raised last Friday. I will call later in the week to know the day it was approved.

Based on suggestion by fellow forum members, had called up IRCC to find out my application status and VO.
My CPC is Edmonton.
The agent told me that Background check is in process and the eligibility has not started yet.

MEP - October 16,2019
NO Biometrics request
How long will take ?? I am extremely worried that my eligibilty has not even started yet. Moreover, the CPC Edmonton office is very slow.

You should be happy your VO is CPC Edmonton. They are faster than IRCC Edmonton. Mine is IRCC Edmonton.

But the shocking part is when I log in my CIC account, it shows we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility criteria or not. This means that the reviewing eligibilty is in already in process but the agent told me that the eligibilty has not even started. These are two entirely different things and I don't know which one to rely on.

Rely on what the agent says.

Called this morning and agent confirmed application was approved on January 7th (a week after remedical passed). She mentioned my file has been transferred from Edmonton IRCC to WINNIPEG IRCC. According to the agent, based on what she could see on the file, I will be receiving a landing interview from Vancouver office. It could be anytime between now and 3months .

I sent an email to Winnipeg office and got a response within an hour. Agent mentioned that the Vancouver office will be contacting with an interview date. The wait continues but at least with no fear or worry.

@rob-immigrationstory What happens when Background check goes to Not applicable? I am dealing with the same case. Application was updated from in progress to Not applicable. Please advise

I got my re-med request yesterday and officially moved to IP2.... maybe something is happening? I'm going to take my test on Tuesday and maybe get a response in three or four months knowing Edmonton IRCC

Hi ... please am curious... have you got your PR now? If yes, how long after re-medical did u get the PPR email and was there ADR after the re-medical before the PPR email?

I ordered GCMS notes and it says:
Security Screening : not started
Eligibility: Not started
Criminality: In progress

It seems they are slow. Mine is almost 4 months and yet not started security!!!

just got off the phone with CIC - I’ve passed all of the checks and it’s been sent to Vancouver for final review! All is done just need to wait for a passport request to seal the deal!

Everything showing in progress in my CIC account.

I have called IRCC on Dec 16, 2019 to ask about progress, the agent told me nothing started yet.
I called again today on Jan 27, 2020, status as listed below and nothing has been changed since one month ago.

• Criminality - in progress
• Eligibility - not started
• Security - not started

The GCMS note I ordered on December 5 shows "R10 OK Recommendation: Pass Criminality", date Oct 29 as same as my MEP.
Does that means the criminality screen started at Oct 29, and not yet finished for nearly 3 months?

I have exactly the same timelines and my CPC is also Edmonton. i ordered GCMS notes and received it today. After the review by the central intake office on 16th October, my case was not touched till date. Criminality in progress, Eligibility not started and Security not started, no notes at all after 16th October. I am also worried how long will it take :-(
