Anyone's application got processed in Edmonton visa office?

Hi guys,

Please add my case to the table too.

I’m a CEC applicant in Toronto. My AOR is June 29, 2018.

My case got transferred to the Edmonton office on July 27, 2018. After that day, no one has been working on my case for 11 months. Eligibility is recommended pass. But both criminology and security were not started. Background check is still IP1.

Called 3 times, sent web form once, all the agent said was still in progress and they would send an email to the responsible office. Nothing else.

I don’t know if it’s just me or it’s a general situation for cases processed in the Edmonton office.

Oh believe me. I’ve ordered 3 notes. All 3 of them are exact same. No movement AT ALL. And my 4th note is on the way.

I have ordered 4 notes as well. All the same. They haven't changed since Oct/Nov! Not even a single update!! Im getting to my 9th month now!

Called ircc this morning, visa office Edmonton, eligibility recommended pass since week 17 not week 13 so I got stuck at this status for 1 month already. Security has not started, criminality passed.

I'm all for this kind of action, but bear in mind there is a very small chance it will accomplish anything. Fast-tracking permanent residence applications is not high on the goverment's agenda, as it doesn't win votes. Our best hope is that we can explain how the problem is the uncertainty, not the wait. That our lives are on hold until we get a response, whether it's approval or rejection. I can't see the CBC doing a second article though, since the previous one pretty much says exactly that.

My Boss just called me to tell me the Immigration called him yesterday to ask about my position in my current company and check the veracity of the information I provided on my letter. As I informed before, I am a CEC applicant and I've been waiting for 9 months now, and my case last update was:
Eligibility Recommended Pass
Criminality In Progress
Security Not Started
Medical Approved

What do you guys think that it should be happening now? Are they checking my eligibility again or is this part of the criminality/security check?

Just a guess, but it sounds like an officer is checking your eligibility to move it from recommended pass to met.
