Anyone who applied for study permit amendment? Please help!!

Hi everyone!
I sent my study permit for amendment because it didn’t include any employment condition.
Today I received a biometrics validity letter via email and when I checked online the status has changed to study permit document invalid.
Is there anyone here who has applied for amendment before? Please help and let me know if this is normal or if I should be doing anything about it.
Also, can I continue studying when my GCKey says study permit invalid?

It's normal, your old permit becomes invalid, then they issue you a new one.
You also should get an email with approval soon.

Since it's a paper application, you won't be able to see it online till you enter your amendment application number.
Which you will get in the email as well.

Not a problem
As I mentioned, it won't till you get an approval email mentioning your amendment was done, and then you take that application number and link it to your GcKey !

Hello! I am also having the same issue. As I see you have posted this years ago I think your problem got resolved. Can you tell me what can we do further? Is there an issue if our study permit states invalid after amendment?

Hi, did you get your study permit after biometrics letter. Because I send my study permit on sept 13th 2024 they received it on sept 17th. Today I received new biometrics letter from IRCC. Will i receive new study permit soon? Is there having experience with this same problem?
