Hello there!

Has anyone received a one-year post-graduation work permit when your course or duration of studies is less than one year? E.g. 8 months - 11 months? I hear that this happens sometimes. I am in a 8 month course but hope to get a 1 year work permit if i am lucky. If you have experienced this please let me know? I'd like to know if there is a possibility. Thanks!! :)

Hi all - id like to bump up this post in case anyone can shed some light on this. Much appreciated in advance!

1. Yes, it could be if you can complete 1 year of credit hours in 8 months. In the end it depends how much credit hours you have in your course. For example, if your course is a 2 year MBA and you finish it in 15 or 18 months with all credit hours, you will get a 3 years of PGWP.

Thanks for your reply! May I know how many hours of studies is equivalent to one year of credit hours? My hours are 35 hours per week for 8 months which I am not sure would add up to 1 year credit hours equivalent.
Cheers!
