I provided my biometrics on Friday. My profile has been updated for a biometric number and the date that they were provided but my account is still showing as "We need your fingerprints" etc.
A few of my fingerprints were not fully possible due to damage from a permanent skin condition. My guess is that, as they weren't complete, the situation will need to be reviewed by someone. Just wondering how likely this is and how long I should wait before chasing the matter with CIC.
Yes. Mine only updated last month to completed. I submitted my biometrics in September. It's a glitch in the system for some applicants. You don't need to worry at all.

Thank God you replied! I am experiencing the same problem too! I was wondering if I was to complete something else and did not why it is not being reflected in my status message.

I have the same issue. I gave my biometrics in August 2020 and they have not been updated so far in my account. When I check the validity of my biometrics on https://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/extapp/bioStatusQuery, it says biometrics are valid till August 2030. I can see my biometric date and information in the portal but it still says we have not received your fingerprints. If someone has any insight on this issue, I shall be so grateful.
