hey guyzz,

Applied online on 15 October, received passport request on 24th oct. on 27th i gave my passport to VAC, and they said , for online application, passport is only requested, if visa is granted. and told me to collect in 2-3 days
Right now it is lying with CHC, Chandigarh.

I have seen some cases of refusals because of ties in Canada by having family member or relatives there. If you have written Canadian address of your sister in family information form then it might have some negative impact. But Visa officer do not reject application just because of single reason. They co-relate others things like academic performance and program choice to examine if applicant is genuine student.
