I think I posted before....but I had contacted CIC this week and MICC and CIC have been communicating internally via email. Therefore if you have been approved for a CSQ even though you may not have received it, CIC has received it. Hopefully I hear something soon...I feel like I am in the home stretch knowing that I have received my CSQ now it is just waiting to see what Canada decides (and more importantly when)!
I hope the best for you! My timeline is a bit funky now compared to the people in the INLANDERS 2010 posts, so I'll probably keep things in this thread for the most part. I'll give them a call in a few weeks. Not going to hound them when there is obviously no news right now. Your news should be coming right around the corner! Keep an eye out for your e-Cas
Today I received my letter from MICC: I got approved for the certificate!
Here's my Québec section timeline:
- Application received on 07 June 2011
- Approved for QSC on 27 June 2011
The funny thing is that the sponsorship agreement of three years for the provincial government is only as from the date you're approved for the QSC, not as from the date you're accepted by CIC or actually land. Tant mieux!
I was looking at the website where it says here (I used Google translate): "Processing times and response are calculated in working days and starts from the date of receipt of your request. These times do not include mailing time."
My credit card was charged on July 3rd. Does this means that's the date of reciept? If so, I probably have a few more weeks to go.
I think that they've started processing when your credit card has been charged. So it's likely that by now you're already accepted! Just hang in there, the envelope is coming!
Neato! I got your message, I figured I would just post here instead. I'll be checking my mail like clockwork. I just hope I dont have MORE mail complications. Getting the CSQ is very important!
We just received the letter for is to go with MICC for the CSQ .... Dated June 30th .
For what I read we should receice CSQ in about 3-4 weeks after MICC receives it....and then 1-2 weeks after AIP.....I am right ??? !! If I am, they are moving a lot faster..Which is great !
