Hi everybody, I called the CIC call centre today and they told me they are going to transfer my file to Quebec City for my landing interview. They told me that i could wait up to 2 months...
Anyone has experience with CIC Quebec??
I heard there was an office there. on the AIP letter they told me they transfered the file for the final interview to montreal but the call agent told me today that they made a mistake not realizing that i was 900 km away from montreal....well quebec city is "only" 640 km....so the call centre agent said they transfered it there... ;D ;D ;D
P.s. i think the CIC office is a bit north of the centre of the the city (not at the port or the airport)
North would be Limoilou or Charlesbourg, but I don't know any government offices (t)here (I live in Limoilou). I know there are some in Sainte-Foy (i.e. Passport Canada).

What i'm pretty sure of is that if you live in quebec city they will definitely transfer your file there(good for you) when it's time for your landing interview
helo everyone here im aplying CFQ we approve already jan20,2011 now they recive pR letter CEM.. i want to know how long process paper quebec im spousal visa section... im now in phlippines

it takes an average of 9 months to get the whole application processed in the Manila visa office, add a bit more time(not that much) for the quebec portion and mississauga initial step and you have more or less 10-11 months from when you sent the original application.
Did you and your sponsor received any latter from government before you applied for Quebec Selection?
My husband received one letter and the girl she help us with papers told me i have to wait for other letter.
Do u have any experiences with it?
Firs letter we received month ago.
Now i am waiting 9 moths from the time they open my file. And I still didn't apply for Qubec selection.

Ok Bubli, i checked your previous posts. You should receive the letter you are talking about (to go on with immigration quebec) pretty soon....the only if is if they trust you with the relationship...if they do you will receive a letter soon saying to continue with immigration quebec , if they don't they will transfer your application to a local office that may add a lot of wait on your application. I don't want to scare you but it happens...it is rare but it happens.... Good luck with everything
