Could those who received the certificate from the Montreal office shed some light on how long it takes after the ceremony to receive the certificate?
Hi, just wondering if anyone actually experienced getting an oath invite where the time of the ceremony is stated in EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). Was that supposed to mean EST (Eastern Standard Time) eventually? thanks
I got mine with EDT, it means EST, I had it yesterday.

Unlikely to get answer to this question? It seems people mostly leave the forums after they get the certificate

Congrats! I hope it all went well for you. Did they request that you sing the anthem during the ceremony or simply repeat the oath?

You are required to repeat the oath, no need to sing the anthem, you can do it, but it is optional.

Yes, said EDT on mine, so yes, it meant EST

They would like you to sing the anthem and request to unmute you, but only the oath is legally required

It’s still in process on your tracker? It supposed to change to closed when they have sent it in the mail, right? Hope you update for us who wait after you. I will do the same when my tracker updates to closed and when I receive the certificate

You did the test outside of Canada, and told them? Did they give you instructions to tell them when you are back in Canada?
maybe they down prioritize those outside Canada because they can’t get just a weeks notice for the oath, that would result in too many reschedulings.

No, they just asked me to send proof of arrival to Canada when I come back.

So they for sure won’t progress you to oath until you tell them you are back in canada.

I am afraid no progress for DM too.

Anyone had the Oath ceremony in Montreal around February 10th? Any change in status so far?
