Thanks. Do you think if I order the notes, my file will be delayed until I get the notes at least? I am afraid if I am about to get my oath scheduled, ordering the notes may delay it.
I think, on the contrary, it might help speed your application along, as @Orgcom noted. Just be polite and respectful and I think that will go a long way.
How does our friend @Orgcom guess when his BG check expiration date will be?
How long does the validity of the BG check last? ... And what happens if it ever expires after passing the test? ... How long does a new BG check take on average?
Oh, wow, okay, so that's VERY fast, then - 11 days before the actual event. With any luck, I could get mine in about a week or so. Here's to hoping! *crosses fingers*
Do you think my case would warrant expedited processing, given that I have an out-of-country trip already booked and paid for at the end of December?

I was going to write something about this earlier; in all honesty, I filed for GCMS notes back in early October (for the record, still haven't gotten them) and I sent a webform almost exactly a month later. I was super polite in it (I understand the issues with the pandemic and Afghanistan, but it would mean a lot to be a Canadian citizen, etc.) Very respectful tone I think/hope helped out. And a week later, the Oath!
I sent them a webform recently (a little over week ago). I was polite, but I mentioned that my file has been in process for 24 months before asking for an update on my file. Someone else got an update after sending them a complaint, not a webform message. So, it seems anything catches their attention, is likely to trigger an action.

Possibly quite true; just something to tickle them. I find that you typically attract more flies with honey than vinegar, but your mileage may vary. I submitted my Webform the 4th of November and got an update 2 days later to Oath. With any luck, you're just on the cusp of it - I'm crossing my fingers for you!

My Family friend just got the email for Oath, dated 18th Novemeber, she doesn;t check much the tracker, we did the test same time but she is an early applicant compared to my timeline, She is an August 2020 Applicant.
Application date: August 2020 (Last week)
Test: June 28th 2021
DM: 25th October 2021
Oath Invite: 9th November 2021
Ceremony date: 18th November 2021
I guess my application January 2021 is too early to expect when compared to her application date. I will wait. But yes we see some invites coming in last week and this week.
