Yes that’s normal, my tracker was updated to test scheduled on May 5th and i didnt get the email until 3 days before the window starts

Not sure about the expedited option. They will not issue e-certificates.

Hello , I received the email the next day after oath. I would suggest you contact ircc and ask cuz if u don't pickup the Certificate on time, u will have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to receive it by mail

timeline: Applicate of January 2021

-oath was on 24 of May 2023
-request urgent certificate pick up on 25 of May
-certificate pickup time from 9am to 4pm on 31 of May
- apply for urgent passport on 31 of May
- passport pick up time from 9am to 4pm on 1st of June (today)

Hello , I received the email the next day after oath. I would suggest you contact ircc and ask cuz if u don't pickup the Certificate on time, u will have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to receive it by mail

In the email they sent,they said they will send it within 2 to 4 weeks. They didn't mention the option for pickup

so on the questioning period in ceremony oath the officer will let u know when u can pickup your certificate and for my case one day after doing oath I received this email :
