hello Kumalo, it is hard to tell when you will exactly here from them about medical. If all your docs are complete and have been submitted, then you'll be hearing from them sooner than you think. I don't think it hurts to send them an email and inquire, or you can check your ecas status.
If you want to inquire further, you can order caip notes i guess. But it will be sent to you soon. Btw, what province are you in?
Yes, it is really hard to predict the time of medical. looking at my timeline, i applied in 2009 January, but look at the time i am landing. I had even given up everything and was planning to settle here in Finland, but at the last minute i was sent the medicals and it landed like a bomb. I mean i had forgotten about it completely. So i have ended up with 2 PRS ie that of Finland and Canada. I am a manyi with PRs but one will be inactive, because i am moving.
At the end of the day, i am happy because i was tired of speaking Finnish language and sometimes mixes it up with Chinese language. I am planning to clean up the Finnish and continue with my Chinese since i like it like my third language.
Please i would advice each and everyone to put their timeline, so we can see how long it takes for people to move from one stage to another.
Thanks
Canadaforall.

just to say I am in the province of Nova Scotia and to say I did sent two CSI to Dakar and the keep on saying application is in queue for review by an officer and I am tier with those statement and so I will apply for GMCS may by the end of the month to see what is going on if medical is already prepare and waiting to be sent
Thanks
Yes, you can apply for GMCS since you are in Canada. It is free for you. If you were out of Canada, i will ask you to hold on for sometime. in my case i applied for caips in 2010 , but everything was zero.
But i had an idea of the documents they wanted me to send to them that was the good point and also realized they made some mistakes in my file so i wrote to them immediately to correct it.
So i will advice you to go ahead aand order GMCS.
canadaforall, Initially, I wanted to move to toronto, but, Alberta seemed more attractive in terms of jobs. So i decided either calgary or edmonton. I have my son, but he will not be coming with me, immigration is sending his med form. Eventhough he won't be accompanying me to canada, are my going to show pof for one person (myself) or will it be for two. And if two, how much is it?
canadaforall,
what's your noc? and how did you do about Jobs? What about housing, when you arrived?

hey canadaforall,
I would have liked to put up my timeline at the left side of my comments but i'm having a tough time doing so. May be those who don't have their timelines setup may be facing the same problem.
I think your help on this will be appreciated.
thanks
This forum still needs more members so that we can start having from among its members applicants from July 2011 intake who have started receiving their medicals like in the case of the London visa office.
There is a particular forum for the London VO applicants from July 1st 2011 to June 30th 2012. I was shocked to see the large number of applicants in this forum who had already received their medicals within a period of about 6months. The only thing that keep to my mind was, what the hell are these Dakar VO officials doing with our application especially over the last 6months that they haven't received further applications.
Hello my fellow africans, my visa office is accra and I have been stuck on RBVO for more than a year now.
It will be really nice if we compare notes to know whether our visa offices are deliberately frustrating us because when we compare with other vos like NDVO and london, you will realise that we are over due for medicals. I am an mi3 applicant .
Regards

You will have to show only for one person. yes medicals is mandatory whether accompanying or not.

Mbasu,
This is a good question, but no one can answer. Remember i tried explaining things to you via e.mail, that is the simple reason. there was no intake so what are they doing?

Hi Mbasu,
It is very easy to do it. 1, Create a new topic. 2, When you post it, then clieck on you username next to the topic you will see where to create you timeline.

From my research also i found it is easy to get a job. Landing in Alberta is good, but many think it is far, for me it is ok. I have lived in China, so when my friends say it is far to me it is ok.
Come and we will build a strong community there.
